By participating in our sessions, workshops, training, or other services (collectively referred to as «Services»), you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms are designed to ensure the safety, respect, and effectiveness of the healing environment for all participants.

1. Acknowledgment of Responsibility

By attending our Services, you confirm the following:

• You are participating of your own free will and with full awareness of the nature of sound healing.
• You take full responsibility for your personal well-being during and after sessions.

2. Disclosure of Mental and Physical Health

• You agree to inform your therapist or facilitator about any pre-existing mental health conditions, physical ailments, or special needs that might impact your participation.
• This information will help us provide a safe and suitable experience for you.

3. Respect for Equipment and Property

• The instruments used in our sessions are delicate and essential to our work. You agree to handle them with care and not intentionally damage, misuse, or destroy any instruments or property belonging to The Sound Healing Institute.
• Any damages caused by negligence or misuse may result in liability for repair or replacement costs.

4. Consent for Photos and Videos

• We may occasionally take photos or videos during sessions or events for promotional, educational, or documentation purposes.
• Your consent will always be requested prior to any recording or photography that includes your image, voice, or identifiable features.
• If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you may opt out by notifying us before the session begins.
• The Sound Healing Institute will respect your preferences and ensure your privacy is protected.

5. Code of Conduct

• Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and peaceful demeanor during all sessions.
• Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the session and possible exclusion from future Services.

6. Non-Therapeutic Disclaimer

• Sound healing is a complementary practice and is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
• Facilitators are not licensed medical professionals. Participants are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider before beginning any new therapeutic practices.

7. Confidentiality

• Any personal information you share during sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent unless required by law.

8. Liability Waiver

• The Sound Healing Institute is not liable for any injuries, emotional distress, or other outcomes arising from participation in our Services.
• By attending, you acknowledge the potential risks involved and waive any claims against the Institute, its facilitators, or staff.

9. Booking, Reprogramming, and Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy

• All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
• In specific cases, a customer can reserve a spot with a minimal deposit designated by the facilitator, which is non-refundable.

Reprogramming Policy

• If you need to reschedule an individual or partner session, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
• Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the session are subject to The Sound Healing Institute’s discretion and may incur additional fees.

Cancellation Policy

a. Cancellation by Customer

• You may cancel sound healing training, events, or sessions within 15 calendar days from the date of purchase or booking for a full refund.
• For cancellations made less than 15 days before the scheduled event, you are eligible for a 50% refund (applies to training).
• To cancel, contact us at thesoundhealinginstitute@gmail.com with the following details:
  
  • Order number or booking reference
  • Full name
  • Reason for cancellation
• Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of confirming the cancellation request.

b. Cancellation by The Sound Healing Institute

• We reserve the right to cancel any training, events, or sessions due to:
  
  • Insufficient enrollment
  • Unforeseen circumstances (e.g., health emergencies, natural disasters)
  • Specific weather conditions
  • Breaches of these Terms and Conditions by the customer
• If we cancel, you will be notified promptly and offered:
  
  • A full refund
  • A partial refund (if the session was partially completed)
  • An alternative session or event of equal value

Session Packages

• Packages for in-person sessions are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
• Packages for online sessions are valid for 6 months.
• Online courses provide access for 12 months.
• It is your responsibility to schedule and complete sessions within these periods. Unused sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable after the validity period.

10. Online Sessions

• For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a suitable environment.
• We are not responsible for technical issues on your end. In the event of technical difficulties, we will assess whether rescheduling is possible.

11. Participation in Group Events

• By joining group events, you agree to maintain the confidentiality of other participants’ experiences and contribute to a respectful, supportive environment.

12. Potential Risks Policy

• While our sessions aim to promote well-being, some individuals may experience unexpected emotional or physical reactions.
• By participating, you acknowledge these potential risks and agree that The Sound Healing Institute is not responsible for such reactions.

13. Intellectual Property

• All content, including logos, text, images, audio, and video, belongs to The Sound Healing Institute and is protected by local and international intellectual property laws.
• Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
• Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to arbitration or resolved in the courts of Quintana Roo.
